I’m so sorry. I know that really hurts. I’ve never been engaged bit I’ve had other people I love do that. And it’s made me feel like a failure too. I don’t know if this’ll help because when I’m in your place I can never really accept it in my heart at the time but I hope it may help a little – we can do so much and give all we can and do our best and be loving and good, and the other person may still shut us out. It may be because of factors internal to them, or external to them but even nothing to do with you. Other experiences they’ve had and so on. It’s really painful but I think no matter hope much you love and care for someone, love can’t force itself to be received by the other person. I’m sending big hugs xxx
Because everyday is a new day, another chance to try again, to make a change, to follow your heart. We must go on, there is nothing else… if you give up, you will always wonder if there was something else to try, so why not try? Or at least refuse to budge until you are ready to move forward again
I’m so sorry. I know. I feel it too. I’m so often so so close to giving up these days. And sometimes we feel those closest to us and those caring for us don’t know it or don’t care. We do fail. But you are not a failure. You are loved xxx
“Never, never, never, never give up.” Winston Churchill said that because he went through some very hard times. Especially, never give up because of what someone has done to you. You are worth way more than that. You are worthy of having someone think you are the greatest thing since iced frappucchino.
Me too, don’t though. Just be really stubborn and refuse to go down, sometimes that’s all you got…

If he’s shut you out, HE’s the one who has failed. Hugs.

That’s okay, we’re allowed to feel every emotion on the spectrum. Just hold on until the tide changes x
