I left treatment last night. Now I feel lost and sad and overwhelmed and unsure what direction I want to go. I’m making breakfast, but I don’t know if I’ll do 3 meals and 3 snacks. I kind of really want to restrict.

Oh honey… 😦 Be gentle with yourself. Xx

I’m trying.
I did eat a breakfast within my meal plan.

Remember how you thought you’d put on weight but had actually lost. Don’t restrict. Maybe this is the time to show yourself just what you can do. Make recovery your knew friend, it can be as seductive as the illness once you apply that all or nothing nature. Try it. Give it a short. The eating disorder is always there regardless. It’s not like you can’t have it back xxx

I would also stick to the plan, because it is yours, made for you by professionals and it has been working!

Change is always hard- it’s natural to feel a bit lost and overwhelmed. These are okay feelings, they hurt at the time but they will pass. You just need to feel them without it having any effect on your eating.
If you want to recover at some point you will need to go through this stage, so if you can do it now it saves you going through the whole cycle again and still ending up at this point.
Sticking to your meal plan is choosing a better life. x
